Okay...so...I attempted a title, and it sucks. XDXD *coff*
These are 3 very pretty boys. NOT girls.
This is my entry into yumehayla's art contest on menewsha.com. Even if I don't win anything I'm happy to draw fanart of her god characters for her, they're so pretty. These are 3 of her boys, (left to right) Stareye, Murasaki, and Lied. Murasaki is a dragon god and this is a boylove story, so I'll spare details, but it is pretty interesting. The main plot is that Murasaki was dating Lied, but when Stareye showed up and Murasaki took some interest in him, Lied killed himself out of jealousy (and pretty much being a martyr). Then Murasaki freaked out, grabbed Lied's body, turned into the dragon of fire, and burned most of that world down. Then Stareye was sad and lonely, with some hint that Murasaki's soul was still lingering around. Isn't Yumehayla a good writer? :3
I wanted to show sad emotions to express the story best, and gave Lied a shamisen because he is a Bard. The stained glass background was my idea to spice this up and while it was hurried (literally colored all 3 backgrounds in 30 minutes), I think it looks alright. :3 I'm pretty happy, and I'm glad to have completed another chibi work in only 2 days. ^^

A brand new monthly article which showcases some of deviantART's finest equine artists, as well as recognizing the lesser-known but equally talented ones. Interviews, helpful tutorials and features can all be found here too! I hope you enjoy it.
The idea of this contest is to set you up completely blind with a mythical being - from any world culture - and turn you loose to come up with a deviation based around it!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example.
